Professor Duan has passed, some say 107 years old.

Some say 114, years old, and some skeptics say he was only 89. I’ll let them argue about that until some researcher is able to definitively state his birth day and year.

I’ll say he was a remarkable man, worthy of his “China National Living Treasure” designation (before he died).

Duan was the subject of a PBS documentary about qigong, “Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century” was produced by Garri Garripoli.  It is currently unavailable from Amazon.
